When you place an order with us at Pureclinica and process your payment, we never have access to your card details. The payment process is passed over to either GoogleCheckouts or Paypal (you decide which) for credit or debit card payment. The only information we see on our website is your address for delivery and your order details. We do not store credit or debit card information.
The payment methods we use are the two most popular and commonly used payment methods on the internet in the world. They are considered to be amongst the most secure payment service providers in the world and both utilize the very best online security technology.
Neither payment provider require you to hold an account with them.

About Googlecheckout
The online payment service for websites provided by the largest company on the internet - google. You do not need an account with googlecheckout to use this payment facility, you can simply follow the link when paying which takes you to the googlecheckout page on google.com. You can then either enter your card details and make the payment, or create an account with google and make the payment. If you already have an account with googlecheckout, you can simply login. Which ever way you choose, the payment happens on googles website, not ours and you card details remain completely safe throughout and after the process. Google will not store your card details unless you create an account with them.

About Paypal
Paypal is the largest online payment provider in the world. You do not need an account with Paypal in order to use this payment facility. Paypal provide a number of ways to pay using their service: 

1. Simply click the paypal button in the checkout process when paying which takes you to the paypal page on www.paypal.com. From here you will be asked to either login to your account or create a paypal account.
2. Use our checkout process (indicated by an orange Checkout now button) and from there follow the simple onscreen instructions and enter your card details and shipping information. You will then be asked to confirm your details and click submit to make the payment. Please note that whilst the details are entered on our website, we do not have access to them and they are not stored or held on www.pureclinica.com. You will be taken to the payment page on paypals website (www.paypal.com) where your payment will be processed. The payment is not processed on our website. Please note: you do not need a paypal account to use this method. You can create an account with paypal after the payment has been made by selecting to do so, but this is optional. If you choose not to create a paypal account you still have access to the same protection and payment security, and to your order details.

Either way, the payment is made on Paypals website, not ours and we do not hold or store any credit or debit card information on our website. When on the paypal website you can either simply make the payment with your credit or debit card (no paypal account is necessary), or create an account with paypal and make the payment. If you already have an account with paypal, you can simply login to your account and make the payment. Which ever way you choose, the payment happens on paypals website, not ours and you card details remain completely safe throughout and after the process.  

Card Information Storage
We do not store credit or debit card details on our website. If you choose to pay using card via Paypal, they will store your details but as mentioned above, storage of sensitive data such as your card details are kept very secure.

System Security
Both Paypal and GoogleCheckouts systems are monitored by Trustwave which are an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for the payment card brands. They are also audited annually under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and are fully approved Level 1 payment services provider, which is the highest level of compliance.

Transaction Security
All transaction information passed between us and Paypal or Googlecheckout's systems are encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever entered on our website, only on the payment providers site and no messages or order details are passed unencrypted from our site to theirs. You can be completely assured that no information you pass to either payment provider servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Encryption and Data Storage
All sensitive data on Paypal and Googlecheckouts systems is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems, making them all but impossible to extract. The data Paypal and Googlecheckout hold about customers is extremely secure. They are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.
The two bits of information we hold (products ordered and your address) are kept secure by the 2nd most secure data encryption protocol available. We use 128bit SSL Encryption which is the same standard used by most major online retailers including amazon and ebay. Your address and order information are held on our servers for as long as you want them. If you no longer wish for them to be on our server you can delete your account with us easily by going to the "My Account" section of our website and following the steps to delete your account. As with everything on our website, this process is made as easy as possible and is simply a case of clicking a button.
