Double Strength Seamoss Complex combines the best of nature's bounty to provide you with a comprehensive daily dose of seamoss, bladderwrack, burdock root, and iodine in just one capsule.
Our unique formula harnesses the power of 5 synergistic active ingredients, taking the benefits of seamoss to new heights compared to taking it alone, and making it double the strength of most other seamoss supplements.
Each capsule is packed with 500mg of seamoss, 500mg of bladderwrack, 150mg of burdock root, 2.5mg of leucine, and 2.5mg of silica, our supplement delivers a well-rounded combination of nutrients.
Additionally, it provides an impressive 150mcg of iodine, essential for maintaining optimal thyroid function, along with 92 out of 102 essential nutrients your body needs.
To guarantee the highest quality, we carefully select specific variants of each extract. Our seamoss for example is organically grown in the unpolluted pristine waters of St. Lucia, where the environment naturally cultivates the purest and most nutrient-dense seaweed.
Hand-harvested by local farmers' associations, our seamoss not only surpasses the quality and purity of regular Irish sea moss, which often grows in polluted waters, but is ethically and sustainably sourced.
Each bottle contains 120 capsules for a full 120-day supply. And like all of our supplements, our Double Strength Seamoss Complex is subjected to rigorous testing for purity, quality, and accuracy of label claims.
2X more active nutrients
Since our founding in 2005, we have remained dedicated to providing health supplements that deliver results.
With Double Strength Seamoss Complex we achieved that by including full daily doses of not only seamoss extract, but several additional synergistic nutrients that increase the benefits.
Weighing in at a whopping 1155mg, each capsule contains 500mg of the purest seamoss extract, 500mg of bladderwrack extract, 150mg of burdock root extract, and along with 5mg of silica and leucine they provide 150mcg of iodine.
Compared to many other leading brands, our product is twice as strong.
Additionally, almost all other brands advertise a similar or higher strength on the front of the bottle, but require you to take two, three or even more capsules to achieve the stated dose. Double Strength Seamoss Complex contains the advertised dosage in a single capsule offering a more convenient and cost-effective solution.
More nutrient dense than regular Irish Seamoss
Double Strength Seamoss is purposefully formulated to be best in class, thanks to its potent combination of synergistic ingredients and the incorporation of the highest quality variety of seamoss and bladderwrack.
Our organically grown seamoss is sourced from the crystal-clear waters of St. Lucia, where local farmers' associations harvest it from its pristine marine environment by hand.
With a remote location, ideal climate, and a lack of industrial activity, St. Lucian seamoss is nature's purest and most nutrient-dense seamoss, providing significantly more of the active nutrients and elements compared to the commonly used Irish seamoss.
By comparison, regular Irish seamoss is cheap and of low quality due to being harvested from cold, polluted waters. Industrial runoff, petroleum chemicals, heavy metals, and other toxins are ever-present in the marine ecosystem from where it comes, significantly deteriorating its purity and nutrient profile. Beware of cheap Irish seamoss supplements!
Our bladderwrack extract is similarly sourced from purposefully chosen locations, where the conditions preserve purity and allow for the highest nutrient density.
With each bottle containing 120 capsules, our supplement lasts up to 4 months, making it an exceptional value for money.
We maintain the highest standards by employing a rigorous testing protocol during manufacturing, and third-party testing afterwards to verify the quality, purity, and accuracy of label claims.
When it comes to Seamoss supplements, there is simply no better option than Double Strength Seamoss Complex.
Seamoss Extract 500mg
Seamoss is a species a nutrient-rich seaweed that offers several beneficial compounds. It contains an abundance of minerals such as magnesium, potassium, sulfur, calcium, selenium, copper, phosphorus, zinc, manganese, vitamins A, C, K, and others. Of particular note is the high concentration of iodine.
These minerals are essential for various bodily functions and can contribute to overall health and well-being. For example, iodine is important for thyroid function, calcium is vital for bone health, and magnesium plays a role in numerous enzymatic reactions.
Bladderwrack Extract 500mg
Bladderwrack, a brown seaweed found in the North Atlantic, Southern Europe, and Baltic Sea regions, is known for its health benefits. Similar to Seamoss, It is rich in iodine, essential for thyroid function, and contains numerous vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Burdock Root Extract 150mg
Burdock root is a plant native to Europe and Asia, known scientifically as Arctium lappa. It has been used for centuries in traditional medicine. The root of the burdock plant is rich in various nutrients, including antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. It also contains compounds called inulin and mucilage, which are thought to have potential health-promoting properties. The nutrients concentrated within Burdock root compliment those found in seamoss and bladderwrack.
Leucine 2.5mg
Leucine is an essential amino acid, meaning it cannot be synthesized by the human body and must be obtained through the diet. It is one of the three branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), along with isoleucine and valine. Leucine plays a crucial role in protein synthesis and is often associated with muscle growth and recovery. When combined with seamoss, it helps the body utilize iodine.
Silica 2.5mg
Silica, also known as silicon dioxide, is a naturally occurring compound found in various forms in the Earth's crust. It is a vital mineral that plays a role in the structure and function of several body tissues. Silica is present in certain foods.
Silica, in addition to its individual health benefits, can aid the body in maximizing the utilization of nutrients present in seamoss, particularly minerals like calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. It acts by enhancing the absorption and utilization of these essential minerals, thereby complementing the inherent nutritional value of seamoss.
Ethically harvested in St. Lucia
Aside from being the purest and of the highest quality, we have chosen St. Lucian Seamoss for two other compelling reasons:
Sustainable harvesting:
Seamoss plays a crucial role in the diverse marine ecosystem of the Caribbean Sea, providing nourishment to marine life, including coral, and absorbing CO2. Large-scale wild harvesting from corals and tide-pools disrupts this delicate balance and leads to significant long-term damage.
To address this, seamoss harvesters, in collaboration with the St. Lucia National Conservation Fund and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, have developed a mariculture method for open-ocean harvesting. This method requires no fertilization, chemicals, or nets and prevents harm to the fragile marine ecosystem.
By using simple sticks to suspend single lines of twine with attached seamoss spores, they cultivate and harvest seamoss while minimizing environmental impact and preserving the integrity of the delicate ecosystem.
Job creation for local communities:
Seamoss harvesting has generated new employment opportunities and instilled hope for a brighter future in local communities that were severely affected by the decline of the banana export industry. Previously, bananas served as the primary source of income for local farmers' associations in St. Lucia until the loss of preferential trade agreements with the EU. This economic setback significantly impacted St. Lucia, especially its rural communities.
Many of these rural communities have been able to rebuilt their economies through seamoss harvesting.
